New Ice rink Valascia.

Project

The new multifunctional hockey rink for Ambri Piotta, designed by architect Mario Botta, presents itself as a single compact building volume, as if it were a hangar linking to the existing infrastructure of the nearby airfield. The structure with barrel vaulting is divided into three floors above ground and a basement.
Due to the polyvalent concept with shops, restaurants and various lounges, the stadium will be able to host events all year round and will also be a meeting place for the sport outside the regular hockey season.
