PINI Group is part of the biggest ever road contract in Norway

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen) has announced that the Sotra Link Joint Venture, composed by Spain’s FCC Construcción, Italy’s Webuild, SK Engineering from South Korea and Macquarie Corporate Holdings from Australia, has been awarded for the "Rv. 555 Sotrasambandet" Project.

The $2.27bn Project includes the construction and operation of a new Sotra bridge, 5.2 km of four-lane roads, 24 km of two-lane roads, 10.6 km of tunnels as well as 22 other bridges, bicycle paths, pedestrian paths and public transport roads and lanes. 

The PINI Group will be responsible for the design of the underground works and is proud of being part of the design team, together with Norconsult AS and Multiconsult.
