In recent weeks Olimpio Pini has had the honour and the pleasure of meeting the European Transport Minister, Mrs. Violeta Bulc, during her visit to the construction site of the Brenner Base Tunnel.

Formerly an elite sportswoman and Vice President of the Government of Slovenia, she is known for her commitment and great enthusiasm for the implementation of major infrastructure projects across Europe. The Minister congratulated the engineers of the Pini Group, who work with about 50 people on the Austrian and Italian fronts of the Brenner Pass and this in the function of both designers and site management. It was a ‘magical’ moment in the history of Pini.
