Over the next few years, the Cantonal Hospital of Lugano is due to undergo major extension and renovation. The plan is to reorganise the entrance level with a new seven-storey main entrance building, landscaped grounds and a new underground car park. The main objective was to optimise user flow and create new spaces for the intensive care unit with new operating theatres and A&E. As a partner of the architectural firm Ipostudio of Florence leading the project, we are involved in all stages of planning, tendering and implementation and are responsible for project management in all stages.
