Our seismic concept was one of our trump cards, enabling us to make our mark as engineers and secure the contract to extend the Sion hospital. The earthquake risk zone Z3b and the safety requirements associated with the hospital construction project (building class COIII) present interesting design challenges. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the team at GMP+Ferrari Architectes, we were able to meet the static requirements early on in the project with a flexible and cost-effective concept. Construction is scheduled to start in 2019.
