Gotthard road tunnel - Second tube

By winning the tender for the construction management of the 2nd tube of the Gotthard road tunnel, Pini completes the quartet of tunnel mandates on the Alpine transversals. 
This new tunnel, about 17 km of length, follows the mandates of the base tunnels on the Ceneri, Brenner and Lyon-Turin and has been commissioned by the Federal Road Office FEDRO/ASTRA.

With this project the Pini Group confirms its leadership in the supervision of major European infrastructure projects. Work is scheduled to begin in 2021; commissioning is expected to take place at the end of 2029.
