Flavio Maccanelli

On 1 July 2019 Flavio Maccanelli has started his collaboration with Pini Group.

Flavio has a degree in civil engineering from the ETH in Zurich. Expert in tunneling and underground works Maccanelli will be Deputy director in charge of the Pini Swiss branch in Lugano and he will lead the section Underground Works also in Lugano. Additionally he will be COO at Group level and will be a Member of the extended Management team.

Maccanelli brings to Pini Swiss and Pini Group a proven experience gained as a designer, a technical manager both of a construction company and on the client side. His latest work experience includes being a manager of Production and Technical Office in Pizzarotti SA and Deputy Director of the Technical Office of Città di Lugano. He played a key role in important projects including the LAC Cultural Center, the Ceneri Base Tunnel and the Linth-Limmern hydroelectric power station.

Flavio’s management and design skills are a welcome addition to the Pini Group.
